Appearance at Lucanet World 2025

How our Sustainability Manager, Lukas Daumer, became a valued discussion partner following constructive customer feedback during a Lucanet hotline call – exploring digital expertise, ESG and modern financial processes.

What began with repeated support requests and constructive criticism developed into a genuine success story: Lukas Daumer evolved from a committed user into a valued contributor to the further development of digital reporting solutions.

At the heart of this journey is the collaboration with Lucanet, a CFO cloud platform used at Moll to automate consolidation, planning and ESG reporting. Through consistent and honest feedback, Lukas Daumer played a key role in challenging existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement. His commitment did not go unnoticed: first, he was appointed to the Customer Advisory Board, followed by an invitation to speak at Lucanet World 2025.

There, he joined leading industry experts – including Klaus Schmidt (PwC), Dustin Rinow (Lufthansa), Tobias Laube (Ebner Stolz) and Jonas Nestmeier (KPMG) – to discuss the role of artificial intelligence in financial reporting. A central focus of the discussion was one of the industry's greatest challenges: managing ever-growing volumes of data.

The key message was clear: only through consistent digitalisation, centralisation and automation can organisations meet the increasing demands of modern reporting. At the same time, it became evident that many companies are still at the beginning of this transformation. Moving away from analogue processes, such as paper-based workflows and fax communication, is an essential step towards remaining competitive in the digital age.

In a dedicated breakout session on sustainable finance, Lukas Daumer also shared practical insights into modern sustainability management. His conclusion was that successful sustainability strategies rely not only on data and systems, but above all on clear structures, pragmatic approaches and close collaboration across teams.

This development demonstrates the value of close collaboration between users and software providers – and how constructive feedback can become the driving force behind genuine innovation.
